About Pia:

Pia
Pia is educated as a wellness massage therapist at Institut FIGARI in Paris, from where she passed her certification exam in January 2008. In August 2009 she attended the LaStone Original Body class in England and is now certified as a LaStone Therapist. Her dreams include creating a wellness resort for personal development and healing, combining bodywork, creativity, coaching and spirituality into a holistic melange that can help people find their unique place in the world and put them on the path to their dreams.
Pia believes in a holistic approach to healing and massage. In order to truly heal, we need to address all aspects of the person. Physical, emotional and spiritual. While not following any particular religion, she's partial to Buddhism and Native American Spirituality and considers herself a spiritual person. Her basalt stones are her companions and helpers on the journey she's undertaken.
When not working with and learning more about wellness, Pia recreates with her daughter, reading, exploring cooking, gardening and computer games. Her hobbies include photography and painting, as well as writing. In fact, a couple of novels are dancing around in the back of her mind waiting to be written. Other interests include science and astronomy, psychology, history - especially medieval and native American - herblore, spirituality and nature.
Pia loves travelling and hopes to one day buy a camper and drive across the USA with her daughter, spending months exploring and discovering the country. Other destinations and goals include New Zealand and Australia where she has family and friends. Beautiful nature attracts Pia, especially the sea and mountains. A dream is to lie by a campfire in the desert or mountains after a day of horseback riding far away from civilization and city-lights to just watch the stars. Seeing the Milky Way look like spilled milk again, and have deep discussions about human nature, the universe and the great mystery of life.
